A new study published in Menopause, the journal of The Menopause Society, looked at three groups of women, each at a different hormonal stage: pre-, peri- and postmenopausal. Researchers tasked each group with performing a set number of exercise hours before evaluating metrics such as body composition, resting metabolic rate and fat distribution. Their conclusion?
