Instead, I find myself obsessing over Lisa Eldridge’s Kitten Lash Mascara, £29, which the superstar makeup artist has spent years working on. That shows. The mascara swiftly stretches, lifts and fans out the lashes and allows you to build a fuller, fluffier look, too, all without clumping, flaking or smudging. It’s brilliant. What I am buying into is a glossy lip – in particular when it’s Haus Labs by Lady Gaga’s PHD Lip Glaze, £22, a balm-meets-oil-meetslip-plumper in six beautifully curated shades, and the highly pigmented Paco Rabannne Dramalips, £29 (11 shades), with its glassy, expensive-looking shine.
