Nails are going back to basics as the modern manicure bares all

Sheer, pink and syrupy, soap bubble-pearly, milky and matte, and all impeccably nipped, clipped and shaped… to say that last year belonged to the your-nails-but-better aesthetic is as low-key a statement as a barely there French tip. But if anything moves at pace, nail trends do, which brings us to this year’s iteration of the minimal manicure. Say hello to the naked nail.
