Rebecca Cooper launched fragrance and beauty brand Polly Dryden last year, with a focus on natural ingredients and sustainability

What was the catalyst that encouraged you to start Polly Dryden? I’ve always had a passion for fragrance. As a child, my great-granny (the original Polly Dryden) and I used to make rose petal and lavender waters. A few years ago, my mum and I started creating candles and skincare using natural ingredients, as we were getting allergies and reactions from mainstream products. We took some of our creations to small craft fairs and they did really well. After research, I found a gap in the market for an independent, natural fragrance brand, with consistent aromas across the range of perfume, beauty and homeware – and Polly Dryden was born.
