Column Last Christmas I woke up to an article in a tabloid titled ‘Bah humbug Banjo!’ See, I have an awkward relationship with the festive season and it’s only exacerbated by my husband’s love affair with it – specifically tinsel. Divisive, like coriander, anchovies and blue cheese, tinsel has caused many fights in my home. I won’t allow it. So you can imagine my dilemma when I got the call to host Scotland’s Christmas Home of the Year on BBC (pictured right). In a lesson I should’ve really learned by now, I told a journalist I don’t like Christmas. Cue the clickbait. For the record, I do like Christmas.
