A flurry of movements of electric multiple units, undertaken by Rail Operations Group Class 37s, have taken place.
Stored Angel Trains units 465921 and 466005 were moved to Ely by 37884 Cepheus on December 23, while on the same day Varamis units 321338/342/428 were moved to Northampton under their own power, for store pending a possible return into traffic.
On January 3, 37884 moved ex-Transport for Wales bi-mode unit 769421 as the 1047 Long Marston-Crewe TMD.
On the same day, 37611 Denise undertook a Class 387/1 transfer move when it moved Great Western Railway’s 387169 as the 1035 Ilford EMUD-Reading Traincare Depot, returning as the 1353 Reading Traincare Depot-Ilford EMUD hauling Heathrow Express’s 387131.
