“When I was little, I spent many hours just playing in my mum’s fabric stash. It just made me happy to be surrounded by fabric,” Vanessa Goertzen says, explaining where her love of fabric and quilts originated. “My mum always did a great job of making my childhood magical and fun, and sewing always had its part.
