Whirling Nine-Patch Attack the strip stash! I love this Nine-Patch-based based block that looks like it is on the run to the next scrap party! My 2” strip drawers were overflowing, so I quickly pulled strips to sew up the center Nine-Patch blocks, and then found some coordinating background neutrals and accent colors to surround them. When pulling fabrics for the center Nine-Patch, I not only looked for colors that would play nicely together but also watched for contrast in print scale. You'll notice in the Christmas version that I used a green tonal to pair with the red holiday print.
