A sunny table set to celebrate the season

“When I think of my kitchen, I think of some of the things growing in our yard. We have a pear tree, and sunflowers grow in the early and late summer. I was inspired by my garden to make this cheerful table set. I have used more appliqué in my projects lately and enjoy the process. I designed the basket first. The appliquéd circles in the baskets represent lemons, limes, and oranges. The yo-yos in the corners of the quilt represent the flowers in my garden.
