Spring, how I've missed you! After months of chilly days spent huddled in my sewing studio, it's a joy to welcome long, warmer days and fresh inspiration in this season of renewal. And, with the garden in bloom again, isn't this the perfect time to embrace nature's beauty by making colorful, new projects? We honor Mother Earth with delightful spring designs you'll love, from Joanie Holton's petite Sunday Stroll table topper and Kari Mathews' brilliant Patchwork Petals quilt to the lovely Alegria throw by Laura Duran and Lina Owen. In this issue, we also explore sustainable quilting. Quilters have always been resourceful—finding creative ways to repurpose scraps, upcycle fabric, and make do with what's on hand.
