Are you looking for a fun project to use up a jelly roll you have lying around? Sharon McConnell of Hilliard, Ohio, USA, has the solution with this great quilt. It was pieced by Marian Jonas and quilted by Darby Myers.

Finished size: 148cm x 103cm (581⁄4 in x 401⁄2 in) Materials Assorted print fabrics to total 2.5m (2#/4yd). Each print needs to be at least 2!/2in x 19in or 5in x 10in. You could use 36 strips, 2!/2in x 42in or cut layer-cake squares in half if you wish. Sharon used fabrics from the Desert Bloom range by Moda Fabrics 40cm (!/2yd) black and white stripe print fabric (binding) 2.4m (2%/8yd) backing fabric Batting at least 165cm x 120cm (66in x 48in) Rotary cutter, ruler and mat Sewing machine with !/4in foot General sewing supplies www.quilterscompanion.wordpress.com Cut the fabric From the assorted print fabrics, cut: 63 sets of rectangles, where a set is: two rectangles, 2!/2in x 4!/2in (A) and one rectangle, 2!/2in x 8!/2in (B) all cut from the same fabric.
