Hello and welcome to the latest issue of Prog magazine. I spent the weekend immersed in the rather lovely eight-disc ‘monster’ edition of Jethro Tull’s 1982 album The Broadsword And The Beast which, as I’m sure you can’t have failed to notice, graces the cover of this issue. What a joy, transporting me back my teenage years when I discovered the band for the first time. Those albums through which you discover a band last with you a lifetime (even if it means you’re sometimes saddled with something like Tormato for life – as indeed I am!).
