VENUE 100 CLUB, LONDON DATE 15/08/2024 Ironically tonight, as Curved Air take the stage, three members of the Sex Pistols are playing the third of three dates at Bush Hall in Shepherd’s Bush to raise money and awareness to help save the venue. In 1976, as Curved Air’s fortunes faded following the Airborne album, the Pistols solidified their reputation at the 100 Club Punk Special, returning in 1996 for a rowdy press conference as they announced their reunion for some live dates. Yet here we are, almost 50 years later, and Curved Air are playing to a very busy 100 Club, having just come off a successful US tour package that also featured Asia, Focus and former Wishbone Ash bassist Martin Turner.
