Original frontman reclaims his legacy with joy and authenticity. In recent years, original It Bites singer/guitarist Francis Dunnery seems to have had a change of heart about the band he co-founded in 1982, shifting from decidedly cool to warmly embracing it. Every January since 2018 – the pandemic years excepted – he’s played a handful of UK gigs as Francis Dunnery’s It Bites. This Blu-ray/CD captures this January’s set: two hours of IB’s instantly identifiable fusion of prog, hard rock, 80s pop and Cumbrian chutzpah.
