Rocket Recordings was started in the UK in 1998 by Chris Reeder and John O’Carroll (along with third member Simon Healey, who left in 2008). The exploratory label began as a hobby but has since grown so much its reverberations can be felt across the globe. Rocket’s path has been impulsive and intuitive, an iconoclastic and freewheeling force in an increasingly circumspect music world.
