Originally released on CD in 1998, this compilation from the vaults of Decca and their subsidiary Deram returns as a double album pressed on eyecatching pink vinyl. It spans the heyday of psychedelic rock from 1967 to 1969 and the stated intention behind the choices is to showcase deep cuts. Following that mindset, several of the featured bands only released one single over their brief lifetimes, and many of the songs are B-sides for added obscurity value. Even the contributions from the best-known artists avoid the hits.
