Unearthed ‘lost’ songs augment the 1984 Robin Of Sherwood soundtrack. One of those bands whose sound evokes the meteorology and physical geography of their homeland – what was Theme From Harry’s Game if not the aural equivalent of County Donegal’s spectral mountain mists? – Clannad are also one of prog’s great soundtrack acts. The Irish group had the versatility, vision and folkloric reach to score a more mystical vision of the Robin Hood legend in mid-80s TV show Robin Of Sherwood. It won a BAFTA for Best Original Television Music and, released in its own right as Legend, stayed in the UK charts for almost a year.
