Not content with releasing a reworked festive album for 2024, there’s a brand-new Jethro Tull studio album coming in 2025, the third in the sequence that started with 2022’s The Zealot Gene and continued last year with RökFlöte. “Tull gigs this year have been deliberately sparse,” explains Anderson, “because I had said last year to the record company, who had an option on a third album, ‘OK, let’s do one.’ I kept telling myself I would try and do that in the latter part of last year, but we were too busy with concerts for me to have a period where I could really settle in and concentrate. “Normally I would do that in the beginning of January, but this year I didn’t actually start work until the beginning of…
