VENUE THE DRILL HALL, CHEPSTOW, WALES DATE 03/10/2024-06/10/2024 It’s a busy Summer’s End this year and Chepstow’s Drill Hall is packed all weekend during the late-summer temperature rise, which always seems to happen at this time of year. The venue was originally built as a bobbin factory in the 19th century and was meant to endure the harsh weather of the time when central heating and, alas, air-conditioning, were but mere pipe dreams. This makes for an occasionally challenging environment during busy shows such as this, especially for those who haven’t bagged a seat. So much so, that one poor soul near passes out as Sunday draws to a close and is rushed to hospital, but thankfully discharged with the all-clear later that evening.
