“WE HAD COMMON friends and were both looking for people with the same taste in music to jam with,” admits drummer Kasper Eriksson, when asked about Hällas’ formation in 2011. “Vocalist Tommy Alexandersson and his friend, the first guitarist of Hällas, found me at a local bar and we formed somewhat of a bluesy power trio, playing music closer to early Black Sabbath and Atomic Rooster. “We had a lot of fun, but then I moved to a different town and things were on hold for a while, until I met [guitarists] Alexander and Marcus who joined the band.
