SWEDISH RETRO ROCKERS Children Of The Sün are back with their soulful second album. Tracing the journey through life, Roots captures a sense of personal transformation and reflection as the band’s guitarist and composer, Jacob Hellenrud, explains: “From the beginning, we wanted to write around the title, Roots. It was the first song we wrote for the album and we knew it was going to be the title track. Our Flowers album was about love and peace, but Roots is more about growing up together and finding love in darkness. It was fun to write the songs and I’m really proud of the result.” The album’s 13 tracks build a carefree and reflective atmosphere that reflects the band’s chemistry.
