VLMV BACK TO SING WITH ABANDON

Prog Award-nominated post-rockers return with their first new music in four years.

Ambient post-rock duo VLMV have announced their third album, Sing With Abandon, for an August 19 release via Nice Weather For Airstrikes. It will mark the Londoners’ first new music since 2018’s Stranded, Not Lost, which earned them a nomination in the Limelight category at that year’s Prog Awards. “This album has been a long process for us after delays with session musicians and studio restrictions,” says VLMV’s songwriter and producer Pete Lambrou. “We ended up going back and forth, writing and rewriting, taking a step back and coming at it from different angles.” The band describe the music on the album as “ambitious yet concise […] the result of years of collaboration, experimentation and crafting”.
