Self-described “retro prog” trio Ring Van Möbius will release their third album on July 17 via Apollon Records. Commissioned Works Pt II: Six Drops Of Poison is one piece of music divided into ‘chapters’, and the lavishly titled lead single, The 11th Chapter: The Nine, Including A) The Fire (Pt II), B) A Nonagon In Eight, is currently streaming. “This is a bigger piece of work than we’ve ever done before,” Norwegian singer and keyboard player Thor Erik Helgesen tells Prog. “The different parts get more room to unfold and, compared to our other albums, it’s a development with a more orchestral-based and diverse sound.
