Californian heavy-hitters Avenged Sevenfold have announced their first album in seven years. Life Is But A Dream… will be released on June 2 by Warner, and lead single Nobody is currently streaming. Clocking in at six minutes, the song features some Rush-style synth textures and choral and orchestral sections amid the metallic grind, giving a clear indication that the album will be progressive in nature: “I’ve played it to a few people,” singer M Shadows said in a recent online interview, “and what I keep getting back is it’s Abbey Road-esque.
