There comes a point this evening when FaUSt rip up the musical rules to truly break on through to the other side. Having already reworked The Sad Skinhead from its 1970s origins into something more organic thanks to the shared vocals of singer Jeanne-Marie Varain and fine artist, musician and foil Geraldine Swayne, FaUSt here lift off into the realm of the seriously weird and deeply satisfying. It would be right to suggest that the pioneering group have always bulldozed their way through musical barriers, but this is where the moorings are loosened to set sail into the unknown.
