HELD BY TREES: TWIN EPS WILL SEE DAYLIGHT IN 2023

David Joseph’s Talk Talk-inspired project returns this year.

Led by Dorset composer and multi-instrumentalist David Joseph, Held By Trees will follow up the project’s acclaimed 2022 album Solace with a brace of EPs later this year, to be released on Sound Canyon. Eventide/Solace – Live At Real World is made up of performances of five pieces from Solace, recorded at Peter Gabriel’s fabled recording studio. In keeping with Held By Trees’ early aim of channelling the spirit of the late Mark Hollis and his band Talk Talk, Joseph’s sextet features former contributors to Hollis’ canon – guitarist Robbie McIntosh, pianist Laurence Pendrous and flautist Andy Panayi.
