Schubas Tavern is an intimate venue in the Lakeview neighborhood that’s built around the ideal connection between the performer and the audience. From time to time, that means nearly blowing said audience out the back door during a live performance. Such is the case when Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania duo Zombi take the stage tonight.
The synth-prog pair are in town to support their latest release, Direct Inject, their first full-length studio album in four years. The anticipation is readily apparent from the minute they take the stage and let loose. There’s certainly a great deal of pent-up energy being unleashed onstage tonight.
