The Brighton-based quintet dig deep into themselves for their third album.

Prog metallers Azure have revealed the depth of emotional investment that has gone into their third album, Fym. Their first fully committed concept album is out on May 23 via Marquee Avalon. “It was all a lot of work, but it was very joyful and emotionally involved,” says guitarist Galen Stapley. “For every story, I had to completely put myself in that mindset. I tried to completely embody what was in that narrative and I think it helped.” Adds singer Christopher Sampson, “I had to dig deep for a lot of the takes.
