Nick Beggs – bassist and vocalist with prog fusion supergroup Trifecta – has given an insight into the creative process behind the band’s second album, The New Normal, which is released through Kscope on April 12. “I’ve got a list of titles of songs to be written and I’m always adding to them,” he tells Prog. “I went, ‘Oh yeah! I haven’t said nearly enough about stroboscopic fennel.’ And it went on like that. I just picked the titles and before we knew where we were in a worrying cul-de-sac.
