Finnish prog metal act Wheel return with their third album, Charismatic Leaders, which promises to be their angriest and most “out there” recording yet. Releasing on May 3 via InsideOutMusic, it finds the band with plenty to say.
“Over the past few years, cult leaders have been appearing in the strangest ways,” says guitarist/vocalist James Lascelles of the record’s loose lyrical concept. “We see them wherever there’s a subset of followers and an ideology, and they a huge impact on today’s society.”
