VENUE THE MACKINTOSH CHURCH, GLASGOW DATE 29/01/2025 Initially, something seems amiss. Scots/Danish songwriter Clarissa Connelly’s prog-folk and electronica-imbued set at Glasgow’s Celtic Connections festival has been keenly awaited, but she and her equally versatile bandmates Mikkel Fink (drums, Spanish guitar) and Alvilda Jakobsen (flute, electric guitar, backing vocals) are still soundchecking some 20 minutes into scheduled kick-off, and the capacity crowd is restless and perplexed.
