SEVENTH STATION Belarusian-led multinational prog metal outfit stretch themselves by giving the source a contemporary workover. Such are the distances travelled by Seventh Station’s Slovenian-based, Belarus-born guitarist, founder Dimitri Alperovich in putting together their latest release, On Shoulders Of Giants, that it must only be a matter of time before he trades in his air miles for free flights. “That’s the goal!” he says with a chuckle. The prog metal quintet are a truly international affair.
