GLASS HAMMER GO ROGUE ON NEW LP

A shift in sound tempers their latest album’s heavy concept and lyrical themes.

US prog veterans Glass Hammer are set to return with their 22nd studio album when Rogue is released via Glass Hammer Media on April 11. And while the record tackles the weighty subject of mortality, the band’s founder Steve Babb says that the music is “definitely a little mellower than what we did with the sword-and-sorcery trilogy.” He continues, “Glass Hammer has always had this ability to reinvent itself. It throws our fans a curveball but a lot of people have been asking us to get away from metal a little bit. I’m not done with it, but this was something that evolved over time and the songs that I began to write started coming out a lot more like you hear. Where the muse goes is where I go.” Explaining…
