First-time vinyl issue for impeccably presented live effort. Fantasia was recorded on the 2007 tour that followed the reunion of the original Asia line-up for the first time in nearly a quarter of a century. It revolves around the two albums released in that brief but spectacularly successful 1982-83 period, with every cut from Asia’s debut given an outing. The impressive chops of all four members are on display on a suitably epic Wildest Dreams. Don’t Cry reveals hidden depths denuded of drums and with Steve Howe switching to mandolin. Other highlights include a brooding Without You and a joyous One Step Closer, with Howe stepping forward to share vocals.
