Norwegian trio’s fourth album in four years. Jan Mikael Sørensen and Havard Enge have never hidden their passion for the music of their 80s youth, and there’s a distinctly retro look to the graphics of this new album’s sleeve, but Songs For The Future is a far more eclectic-sounding affair than those cultural signifiers might suggest. Whereas their last two thematically linked albums, Zero Acts 1 & 2 and Zero Acts 3 & 4, were concept sets, here they offer up a grab bag of styles and subject matter.
