A fresh face in the group and Abbey Road strings on new LP

It’s all change again for Big Big Train, as they announce their 16-date The Journey Continues Tour and upcoming record, Ingenious Devices. Keyboardist Carly Bryant stepped down from the group in February, citing family commitments, and has been replaced by Oskar Holldorff. The Norwegian deputised for Bryant during BBT’s brief run of shows last September, with his own band Dim Gray also supporting. He will contribute to the next studio album, due next year, and next March will join BBT for their co-headline slot on the Cruise To The Edge. The Journey Continues Tour runs from this August 26 to September 13, with rising Italian guitarist Maria Barbieri standing in for Dave Foster, who’s still a BBT member but had prior commitments to the Steve Rothery Band.
