Of course, in reality, it’s actually a comprehensive dive into the genesis and archaeology of the actual follow-up, 1970’s Chunga’s Revenge. Putting aside the dubious marketing tactics of inventing a ‘new’ or ‘lost’ album, there’s more than enough reason to be excited by this latest raid on the archive. “A comprehensive documentation of a musician in full flow.” The three-CD release is a truly bountiful package.
