The now-eight-piece chamber pop group to release their comeback album in September.

Beatrix Players, the former band of singer and solo artist Ms Amy Birks, are back! Originally a trio, the chamber pop group have returned from their five-year hiatus with a revamped eight-piece line-up. Their comeback album, Living & Alive, will be released on September 22. “The last line-up [of Birks with musicians Amanda Alvarez and Jess Kennedy] went a little bit sour and just became more difficult than it should have been,” Birks tells Prog. “If you’re not enjoying music, it’s time to quit.
