Following a lengthy gestation period, The Chronicles Of Father Robin make a rare live appearance on the first day of Asker’s We Låve Rock 2024. The collective includes some of Norway’s finest prog rock musicians from Wobbler, Tusmørke, Jordsjø and The Samuel Jackson Five, and tonight’s challenge is to present all three volumes of their ambitiously conceptual The Songs & Tales Of Airoea, in order, in their entirety, over three hours!
The character of Father Robin embodies all the bandmembers and their life challenges, sprinkled with inspiration from different mythologies. The crowd’s anticipation is palpable as the eight-piece take to the stage, which is decorated with four screens in the shape of a cloud, a moon, a star and a triangle.
