MADE FOR THE LIKES OF US! Thank you for covering Big Big Train’s new album and tour in recent editions. As someone who discovered BBT at about the time of The Second Brightest Star and having really enjoyed their subsequent albums (so much so that I now rate BBT as one of my favourite prog bands), I am intrigued by the report of their gig in New Jersey, in Prog 149. Your reviewer tells us that there is an almost complete absence of pieces from the latest album, The Likes Of Us, apart from Love Is The Light. While your review of the album in Prog 147 described The Likes of Us as“consolidating” and“a little safe”, repeated plays reveal, in my opinion, one of the best prog albums of recent…
