O.R.K. TO OPEN UP THEIR SCREAMNASIUM IN OCTOBER

The heavyweight proggers work the floor on album four.

High-protein prog outfit O.R.k. are due to return with their fourth album, Screamnasium, on October 21 via Kscope. Billed by the label as “expansive and emotive” and “gutsy and striking”, the follow-up to 2019’s acclaimed Ramagehead once again features bass great Colin Edwin (ex-Porcupine Tree), drum giant Pat Mastelotto (Stick Men), composer and vocalist LEF (aka Lorenzo Esposito Fornasari) and guitarist Carmelo Pipitone (Marta Sui Tubi). Grammy-winning singer Elisa is set to duet with LEF on one track, Consequence, while Prog Award winner Jo Quail will add her virtuosic cello layers to album closer, Someone Waits. The LP was trailed in June by lead song As I Leave, with an accompanying video by Tool’s Adam Jones, who again handles album artwork and layout with Marvel/DC Comics illustrator, Denis Rodier.
