Arena will release their much-anticipated 10th studio album, The Theory Of Molecular Inheritance, on September 2 through Verglas. Delayed by two years due to the pandemic, the record features band linchpin, keyboardist Clive Nolan, plus regular Arena guitarist John Mitchell, drummer Mick Pointer, and bassist Kylan Amos. The release is also significant for being the band’s first new set to feature former Threshold vocalist Damian Wilson, who replaced previous singer Paul Manzi back in 2020. “Damian nearly joined Arena twice before,” Nolan tells Prog, “but this time the stars aligned. I love his vocal style. He absolutely suits Arena because of the kind of vocals we like to do, and his ability to twist melodies.” Nolan also says that Wilson has brought a new energy and attitude to the Arena…
