CIRCU5 EXPAND LINE-UP TO TRIO FOR UPCOMING ALBUM

British proggers Circu5 are set to return with their second album, Clockwork Tulpa, via ST Productions on March 7. Coming eight years after the release of their eponymous debut, the new record is their first release as a full band with founder member, guitarist and singer Steve Tilling recruiting Tin Spirits frontman Mark Kilminster on bass and backing vocal duties with drummer Lee Moulding completing the line-up. “With Mark and Lee in the band, Circu5 can now establish its own unique identity,” says Tilling. “I’m very excited about where we can take the band next.” Thematically, Clockwork Tulpa’s 10 songs continue the story of Grady, whose life has been moulded by the shadowy CIRCU5 organisation. “It’s not just storytelling,” he says. “It’s a reflection on how people navigate the trauma…
