ALL-STAR CAST JOIN HELD BY TREES FOR SECOND LP

A host of big names are joining Held By Trees for their second album, Hinterland, which is out on vinyl and CD on TweedJacket Music on April 4. The digital version will be available via Bandcamp. Led by composer-producer David Joseph, the core of Held By Trees remains Talk Talk/Mark Hollis contributors Robbie McIntosh (guitar), Laurence Pendrous (piano) and Andy Panayi on flute and sax, as well as drummer Martin Ditcham and bassist Simon Edwards. This time, they’re augmented by Supergrass’s Rob Coombes (keyboards), Primal Scream’s Simone Marie Butler on synths and effects, Wire’s Matt Simms on guitar, Swans guitarist Norman Westberg and Slowdive’s Simon Scott providing field recordings.
