Swedish electronica explorer brings EPs together on LP debut.

Hög Sjö SMUGGLER MUSIC Swedish producer and songwriter Patrik Berger has had a hand in pop hits for the likes of Charli XCX and Taylor Swift among others, but under his own Hög Sjö moniker he’s scratching a creative itch some way further into left-field. The name translates as ‘Heavy Sea’ and at first some of this material might be hard going for fans of his more chart-friendly work. Nonetheless, there are still a fair few entry points to lure the listener in and make more sense of the apparent chaos surrounding them. Raki plunges into semi-cacophonous tangles of Eastern-flavoured instrumentation but then emerges into an epic Zeppelin-style riff.
