Billy Sherwood’s all-star project The Prog Collective is back with a new, all-original album. Out now on Cleopatra Records, Seeking Peace features cameos from an array of talent from the prog scene, including Dream Theater’s James LaBrie and Jordan Rudess, guitar greats Steve Hillage and Steve Morse, Yes keyboardists Geoff Downes and Patrick Moraz, and Zappa drummer Chester Thompson. “These guys always take what I’ve done to a whole other level,” Sherwood tells Prog, “which is why the project stands out as different to anything else I’ve done, especially as there’s original material involved. The beauty of this is in the level of musicianship and artistry that comes from each individual.
