NORTH SEA ECHOES DEBUT LP LANDS
North Sea Echoes – the new project from Fates Warning vocalist Ray Alder and guitarist Jim Matheos – have announced the release of their debut album Really Good Terrible Things on February 23 via Metal Blade. “Jim was writing another solo album and he thought that it needed vocals,” says Alder of the album’s origins. “He came to me to see if I’d be interested. I said, ‘Send me the music.’ He did and I said that I’d love to do it.” Immediately apparent is the marked difference in sound from what fans of Fates Warning might expect.
