VENUE THE UNDERWORLD, LONDON DATE 30/11/2024 One might say that Israeli quintet Orphaned Land don’t take the easy path. ‘How’s that going then?’ quipped a pal when Prog told them they were off to see an Israeli prog metal band who preach peace and harmony among all, especially between Arabs and the Jews, as singer Kobi Farhi so eloquently explained to a packed crowd at the 2018 Prog Awards. But you’ll find plenty of people telling you that music and politics do not mix. Musically, the band are a bit of a melting pot.
