Led by Shelby Logan Warne and Grace Hayhurst, their studio complex is a haven for prog musicians.

“‘Community’ is the word I always use,” says Shelby Logan Warne as she speaks of her ambitions for Sensible Music Studios, the recording, rehearsal and mastering facility she co-owns with her business partner Grace Hayhurst. Based near King’s Cross in north London, the studios have, over the years, hosted a number of prog luminaries including Dream Theater, Roger Waters and Tim Bowness. Now, having bought out the premises in April, the pair are reaching out to prog’s musicians, labels and festivals to enable this community. Both will be familiar to prog fans. Logan Warne is the singer-keyboardist and producer of electro-proggers Kyros while Hayhurst is a solo artist and Prog contributor.
