Mainman Claudio Sanchez says their 10th LP “resonates differently”.

As Coheed & Cambria’s enigmatic ringleader Claudio Sanchez began writing the 10th record in their sprawling, scifi-propelled Amory Wars series of concept albums – out in spring – he started to wrestle with himself. “Two big themes that happen on a lot of Coheed records are identity and mortality, and the older I get, those themes become louder,” he reflects. “Initially I was writing without the rules of the story, and I found a very personal theme – of thinking about my past and the choices I’ve made – that revealed itself to me.
